Antonio Lanatà PhD, graduated in Electronic Engineering (2001). He received the Ph.D degree in Automation, Robotics and Bioengineering at the University of Pisa (2006), with the development of innovative wearable Ultrasound/UWB systems for cardiopulmonary investigation. His research activity is mainly focused on bioengineering field, in a multidisciplinary scenario involving electronics, medicine, neurosciences, statistics as well as signal processing, data mining and pattern recognition. Currently, he has extended his interests in the investigation of the affective states and its variations in both healthy and subjects suffering from behavioral, mental and consciousness disorders.
He has been involved on several European funded Projects in both FP7 and H2020 program. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and author of several chapters of books.
